Our trip to Rome for Pentecost was a real gift from God - a gift that helped us to renew our faith, confirmed us in our spirituality and renewed our marriage. During Pentecost God reminded us that we were called by Him to form a family and that we are called to be holy. Mario and I were there sharing the same ideal, the same joy, the same love, being strengthened by the Holy Spirit who impels us to work even harder for the holiness of our family. We were also renewed in our faith, we saw so many signs of sanctity as we walked the streets of Rome - so many tangible signs that reminded us that holiness is possible, it is real! Finally the experience of communion with our spiritual family was so strong, so deep, so beautiful! We were all there united in Christ and re-committing ourselves to give our lives to Him and to help Him transform the world with His love. The CLM together with all the other movements and communities were a beautiful witness of the unity of the Church in the same Spirit, the Church was alive, strong and joyful! Pentecost in Rome was a real encounter with Our Lord Jesus who showed us the beauty of being a Christian and the joy of communicating it. |
